Maïté Adams,

Maïté Adams is a family nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic care. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as a registered nurse in the pediatric intensive care unit and emergency department. Those experiences strengthened her ability to support patients and families through urgent, complex, and stressful situations.

After beginning her nurse practitioner career in primary care, Maïté transitioned to orthopedics, where she has practiced for more than five years. She works closely alongside Dr. Matti Palo to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care for acute injuries, chronic orthopedic conditions, and bone-health concerns.

Maïté helps patients understand their conditions and treatment options while building lasting, trusting relationships. Her approach combines careful listening, clear communication, and an appreciation for the whole person.

She develops treatment plans around each patient’s goals and quality of life, while leaving room for warmth and a little fun along the way.
